what are your thoughts on our brother Jay - Z
making a big move from music to sports as a
new found business owner of a NBA basketball team
he now the minority owner of the NETS and moving them
to his hometown in BROOKLYN ?????

should he have stayed in the music business or is this a nice
change for his future as a owner of a NBA team ???

I think if he has the money to do it, it will definately pay off. He's been in the music game a while now and it never hurts to try something new. We'll, it does sometimes, but I think this will be a good change for the Nets. Jay-Z is a smart brotha and he obviously has a good business sense. I think more people should broaden their views and ideas and tap into new things if possible. That goes for the rich as well as the poor. If we stick to one thing we'll never grow as a people to have anything.

What a lot of people don't understand is that Jay-Z is a minority owner in the deal. But an owner none the less. I think it's great that he is reaching out into other areas of buisness. His clothing line is doing really well, so is his movie production company. I think it's the right move to get involved in an NBA franchise. Just adds to the man's mystique. And it makes great finicial sense.

More stupidity by Jay-Z, because he is being puppeteered like the fool he is like most of the other rappers and athletes. They want us to look at degenerates like Jay-Z as "successful" so that we can expend mass amounts of time and energy to become professional nothings. Thereby, the clock ticks backward even further for African people.
