The ultimate paradox,
Incredible beauty,
Intwined under golden locks,
But if you stare her down,
She will try to burn you,
With a searing caress,
And a hint of passion,
Leaving me to ask,
Have you seen her?
Gazed into her firey soul?
As she shines on everyone,
With her power and glory,
Leaving you blinded,
By her inner light,
With no shadows for shelter,
As you try to turn away,
Seeking solace in night,
To ridicule her gratuitous love,
But you can never hide her brilliance,
And she will never neglect you,
She is too high above your dust,
With her beauty never vanishing,
Even if you shun her very sight,
Through closed blinds,
And closed minds,
Taking her for granted,
As jaded radiance,
But I will remember,
And will always be there,
Never far from the source,
Admiring her very existance,
Restoring her faith,
As the day takes it's course,
With eyes wide open,
To all we forget to see,
And all that will ever be,
Through hopes and dreams,
From now to eternity,
I ask humbly,
In a silent plea,
May the sun shine on you,
As the sun shines on me.
