Ive been there all along

Seems as though
Ive been gone.
Away…
Withdrawn…
But there I was…
Basking in the dawn
Don’t you worry…
Ive been there all along

Ive watched you from distance
Not far
Far as in brightest star
But just fingertips length
You can still feel my heat
The warmth of my stare
The waves in my hair
Softness
Wetness
Of my lips
My hands on your hips
Close enough to feel
My energy
My real

I knew you were ok
Cause everyday
When I pray
In the midst your name I would say
Cause Im sure it seems
Like I was away
Out of your site
But in your heart I remain
And stay
Although I haven’t seen you…
Physically,
But spiritually
Our souls have embraced
Every
Every day

Seems like its been …
Forever
And far too long
But you know
And I know.
Ive been there…
Here…
All along
