Black Poetry : It's been a year

Looking back over this year I must confess
Everyday I fall more and more in love with you
Everything about you down to your slighest caress.
For it's all comes together in the knowing of you
And every piece of the puzzle that is revealed
It comes together to strengthen your appeal
For you seem to be my absolute completion
We are in sync almost to perfection
Our future together shines bright
With more good times to be had​

The place I want to be is close to you
There’s ecstasy and peace in your embrace
I know that I can cope with what life brings
If it is your hand that I hold during this race
You’re all I ever wanted, and much more
After a year, I still look at you and get a thrill
Our friendship is one of the best thing in my life
I love you deeply, madly, and I always will​

i find myself loving you more
for this made me feel real good
to see you where ya heart stood
after a full year friendship and beautiful cheer
for every peep and every twist
i see deep into the lioness
that makes me say bless da one
for tomorrow comes more sun
