Somewhere between paradise and diaster
Occupation
Teacher
You see me down right now
And assume that it is over for me
But don't count me out just yet
For I will rise again better for the trial
I've been through worse storms than this
So I declare right now that this too shall pass
I'm learning to give thanks for all things
For all things happen for a set purpose
An every situation has become my teacher
Even when things blow up in my face
There is a lesson to be learned in the ashes
So why you stand over there doubting
I will be rising and preparing for the journey
For nothing shall stop me from reaching the top
All you can see is where I stand on today
But I can see me in my perfection
So look out world I'm on my way to the top

A strong women knows she she has strength enough for the journey
but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey she will become strong.
I am currently on a journey to be the best me that I can be,
the me that God called me to be.
But I am a work in progress
and God is not through with me yet.
If I am not what you expect me to be
attribute it to growing pains
and either love me flaws and all
or wish me well in my journey.
It is what it is
and I am what I am

FEELING YOU ASP

I've been through worse storms than this
So I declare right now that this too shall pass
I'm learning to give thanks for all things
For all things happen for a set purpose

It is what it is
and I am what I am

I could have quoted the whole thing but i had to hi-light this

I HAVE NO WORDS

this is why i love your poet man

asimplepoet - The fact that one can change his or her life in the blink of a Choice, regardless of circumstances, is the greatest gift. We can go from ignorant to intelligent, poor to rich, sad to happy - all overnight because we choose to do so without fear. What a power! Some use it and thrive some don't and perish and some never realize it's inside them their whole lifetime. You have captured all of that with your words and they merit a stand up salute. Namyh

P.S. - When I first read this, I thought of the A-Train in New York City. When it barrels in, it's pushing a column of air in front of it that will push you away. When it leaves, the vacuum of air behind it will try to pull you to it. Your words have that force and anybody in the way better hold on or get pushed or get pulled or get both. Great work asimplepoet.
