What do you think we need to do to get our REPARATIONS as Black people that have ancestors that were enslaved and still suffering collectively from the impacts of slavery and after 1865.

I think it is time to make sure that our votes go to a candidate that will get the reparations that are overdue to us.

Discussions about reparations was "in" back in the 90s. The legal claims for reparations took a consistent butt-whipping in various courts of law. There is very little remaining, only a pathetic claim of companies defrauding its customers by not admitting they had profitted from the slave trade; a claim that will almost certainly not prevail. Slavery reparations is not going to be an issue in the 2016 presidential elections or any of the lesser elections. Time to stop beating a dead horse, trying to get it to stand, let alone trot.

Well, there are ways to do that. Go to your Profile Page and text a "Update your status." A simple title or heading and then drop the link there. I do believe a link will show, it may not though. I don't recall anyone showing a link in their Update your status, but its worth a try.

Also, make the petition request your Signature. That way, every post you make will carry the Petition (but make sure you have the updated petition link).
