    they are intermittently
    burdening me
    with their misconceptions

    they are scrutinizing
    hatefully
    confusing my direction

    forcefully oppressing me
    chaining me
    to their deception

    suffocating my essence
    cutting off
    spirit connections

    Am I their excuse?
    Justifying the abuse
by claiming I broke their rules...

    Should I not rebel?
Not stand up to this hell
    proclaiming them fools...

    A constant debate
    as they infiltrate
and create mistrust in our community...

    Starve us near death
    pollute our breathe
    disillusion us into disUnity...

    Masquerading as brothers
    and raping our mothers
then escape to their world of pretend...

    Putting us in blinders
    trying to confine us
    to mass confusion again...

AIN'T GON LET THEM REPLAY SLAVERY ON ME
    No sir...
but some won't run for fear of losing their feet

I AIN'T GON LET THEM PLAY THEIR GAMES ON ME
    No sir...
some preach a good speech but when faced with FEAR they retreat

    IT AIN'T GON BE ME

like all cowards they use lies and bullying tactics to have control...
and like all cowards they retreat at the first sign of confrontation...

    Umoja my brotha!

Umoja is the first day of Kwanzaa and represents UNITY!
On the first day of Kwanzaa the black candle in the center of the Kinara is lit. Harambee!!!!!!!
It is no coincidence that it is first to be symbolized as it is the very foundation of our survival...Black represents our people...May we forever stand together United in the struggle....
Together we are everything...apart we are nothing but alone!

    Blessings on ya House!:peace:
