Hate is a strong word
But in this situation I hope you understand
That
Through me doing actions that make me man
Have been dealt,
What some would say was an unfair hand.

She was drawing from me
Feelings that reflected my minds condition of the moment,
And it was found in an order which it was seen to make
No sense to those that knew that this wasn’t its current view.

So without consideration of what my actions would do
Said that it was not me that said that he loved she,
It was not me that was seen to be there when lonely,
And snapped clean away,
Giving back my copy of keys,
Leaving her with the thought of what her life had become
Through the introduction me.

She said goodbye that day to the selfish boy that was in me,
But in turn
Found and introduced the selfish girl found within she…

As this girl could tell that
The thoughts of my current state of mind where coming to an end,
An ending that she wasn’t prepared to see
So put in place the measures to keep hold of me…

And those 4 words to this day still haunt me
4 words heard through the abuse that I had at first received,
Were the only ones that seem to slap home and have an affect on me.

And until now,
The vision of the clear path in front of me
Was mired with the words “D, It’s your baby”

Words absent,
I’m back tracking to bathroom visions
Doing calculations on how her pills still held there positions
Days after they should have gone missing,
Helped in creating the feeling within the pit of my stomach to sicken,
Thickening the thoughts of ways of finding an exit of this position -
Yes, its abortion was a spilt second hesitation -
But life is the truth you don’t need to say…

So from using one to regularly press on bed strings
To relief the stress that my life brings,
I’ve got spending my life with someone I’m not feeling
And being a father to a child I wasn’t expecting.

So much for the
“All about me” state of thinking…

So from using one to regularly press on bed strings
To relief the stress that my life brings,
I’ve got spending my life with someone I’m not feeling
And being a father to a child I wasn’t expecting.

I read this a few times and each time that verse packed the same strength punch!

So much for the
“All about me” state of thinking…

Yeah, a child will do that.

This was heartfelt so much because I stress this kind of scenario with my son, often.

This can be a teaching piece.

You expressed your emotions extremely well. Thanks for sharing

Be Blessed!
