Let's see, it ain't a holiday or a mass request for PTO. A straight shutdown huh? Where in the world do you shut down and do not do a d@mned thang for a while and not lose revenue? AKA, these fools still get paid if this happens. Not that they have been doing much work in the first place, but I digress.

It happened before for 28 days under Clinton and folks got their SSI checks postal workers went to work, but national parks and tourist atractions, and passport processing did shut down and those employees did get furloughed
