Well, it's mainly because Sis. A said a Nigerian told about the effects of okra on one's spirit.

So I thought it would be appropriate to put in context. I speaking with some elders on it now to get greater information. I will release it shortly.

No it sure doesn't. I believe your mother and my great aunt Emma Lee are the ones that introduced me to this wonderful vegetable first. Aunt Emma Lee used to smother it with onions and bell peppers. It was so good and home grown right out of her garden in Jasper. Your mother/my grandmother used to say that okra was good for your nerves so I hope that is indeed true and okra isn't bad for you.....

No it sure doesn't. I believe your mother and my great aunt Emma Lee are the ones that introduced me to this wonderful vegetable first. Aunt Emma Lee used to smother it with onions and bell peppers. Not at all God Clyde, any information pertaining to Okra is most welcome. Actually, maybe you could confirm something for me, do the women in your family who consume it regularly have long, thick healthy hair? apparently eating it daily or washing one's hair with the slimy juices of Okra results in beautiful hair.
