As far as I know, I have no gastronomic nemesis - yes, that includes Bulls testicles (true story), I’m however ambivalent about okra; no matter how meltingly cooked, I can taste only soggy string. This ambivalence recently turned into distrust when a Nigerian male acquaintance told me that Okra opens up a person’s spirit making them easy to influence – negatively or positively, depending on the intentions of the person serving it up.

Can anyone confirm whether this is true? I know of its other effects but not this one.

Okra is also penis shaped. The fruit pod of a plant native to tropical Africa, Okra is rich in Magnesium, is a natural relaxant and contains Iron, Folates, Zinc and Vitamin B, all food for the sexual glands - and is well known in many countries for its use as an aphrodisiac. Some have cooked okra and added lemon juice to it to create an aphrodisiac, which has been deemed quite strong for some.

I think in this sense the particular foods doesn't apply across the board.
If 'Okra opens up a person’s spirit making them easy to influence ' It could be the medicine that a person needs and on the down side it might be the thing keeping a person stagnate in their growth.
And from my objective perspective. Have you recalled okra having that affect on you?

But in no way a dis to the matter at hand presented to us by our Goddess Alexander cause I will be paying closer attention to the foods across the board I intake and on how it affects me in general.

Living Foods are closer to

what is spiritually sound than dead animal flesh!

I like the picture, however I prefer my okra breaded and fried in olive oil or safflower oil.
