    ...:::deep breath:::...
alright, I've had this controversial relationship for a year and 6 months.
well what makes it so "controversial" is that we first met online and to this day, it is still long distance. "Yes...yes....yes...i know about all of the sexual preditors online and people going missing and all that, but im happy to report that this relationship "father tested...father approved" in other words, my dad has been all up in the mix since day one. Well notice i said my "dad", your probably wondering about my mom. well she practically disowned me when she found out about it. for one, both of my parents are 60 year old God fearing people who think that anything thats not listed in the bible is a "work of Satan" lol. j/p but they are afraid of the internet and thats simply because they refuse to have anything to do with. Anyhoo, over this year and a half, me and my boyfriend have grown to have very strong feelings for one another. and our first time meeting will be this summer! (go ahead and say it..."ITS ABOUT TIME" lol) but im very excited and so is my boyfriend's mom and my dad. well i want my mom to be excited for me also, but theres no sign of that any time soon. So is it just me, or does my mom need to stop trippin?!?

    see, at first i felt
    the same way, but
    now that its been a
    year and a half, shes
    kinda making me wonder
    if "spite" has kicked in
and if she now has a
    grudge...
    and even though she
    may think nothing of
    how shes reacting, it
    hurts so bad...becuz
    who wants their parent
    to be that way...you
    know wat i mean?!?

    p.s. thanx for the post,
    and keep em comin

    Its all good
Mom is probably having a grudge
    Cause you went against her
I do in fact believe that
My mother has held grudges against me
I think that is more of human nature
Other than a lack of love and understanding
Look past what she is doing and show her
She is the one making the mistake
To not be apart of your life during your moment of happiness
Cause believe me she will regret it in the end
She cars just being a little stubbourn thats all

Sister MzMelanie2u2 ... i notice you're posting in the teen forum, how old are you Sister?

How old will you be when you meet this man next summer? How old does he say he is?

Even if you are 17 now, and will be 18 next year, i would not be happy that you've spent a year and half focused on some man that you met on the Internet. This is not the time for such things. Are you going to college? Are you spending time preparing for that?

If you're 19, taking complete care of your self, i'd still caution you to be very careful ... even though you're an adult.

I'm with your Mother, this is too much ... and i aint 60 years old or thinking that the Internet is satan.

    How old are you Sister?

    lol...
    well to answer everyones question,
    I'm 17 years old...and yes, im not
pulling your leg, my parents are both 60.

As far as the "ending up in the trunk of a car"
comment, an old woman once told me (my mom)
if you dont have anything positive to say, you
dont say anything at all. You should definately
    take her advice.

    To Ms Destee,
my boyfriend is 17 years old also.

My dad will be with me when i go
and my boyfriends mom will be with
    him.

To everyone who left me words of
caution, trust me...I'm playing it as
safe as i can. And i thank you for
    your words of wisdom.

    KEEP EM COMMIN...1
