    Peace and Blessings Family,

Are the qualifications for being a leader of people, the decision maker, etc., out of reach for us?

What are the qualifications for being a leader, a decision maker, etc.? Can you (we) attain them?

Many complain about the way another leads, yet they do nothing to become a leader themselves.

Why is this? Is it out of reach for most, leaving the majority relegated to complaining about those that have qualified themselves?

If you don't like how someone else is doing a thing, why not do it yourself?

    Is this not possible?

    No that is not possible

I will make a blanket staement,

the 12 thousand members of Destee are honest hard working people, who love their families and wan ore for their children, then they had, and are law abiding citizens in the nations where they live.

However each person here has a refrigerator,an air conditioner, a home heating system, and a computer

Now no matter how good or positive each member is

98% will have to call a service person or make a complaint to their landlord if one or more of these devices,
    malfunctions.

Now lets say they get a service person wh is Black or even a blood relative

and the persons repair work is so bad that they leaves the device in even worse condition

    Should the client say nothing
after paying for half of the service upfront?

out of fear of making a complaint statement?

And if they do complain is it fair for the service person to

tell the client, "well if you don't like my work , you just do it yourself"
How long will they last in the business or trade with that attitude?

Now with out complaints how does that sevice person become better?

They may be thinking they are doing a good job, but if they are not egotstical, they wil listen to the complaints and learn to improve

In fact some of the best Black home repair contractors in NYC leave a little service
survey, with their clients after the closing of a contract,
where they can check off, how they liked or did not like the work.

Now a politician in a democracy is a public servant, but how many desire to provide their constituency, with a survey,
    every now and then?

That may be so but I would disagree,

and I see the leadership capacity in every face of every brother and sister I see, in the black community where I live,

folks are not stupid, they are tired and upset about the lies and the con games and the promises,

but they are tired from working two jobs, to pay the same grocery and utility bill they paid eight months before.

Leaders influence others to lead..you're a great leader when you empower others to take charge and you may not get the credit, but you put forth towards the difference. Really, we all have influenced a decision maker one way or another. During presedential elections and thereafter, it becomes apparent that who is on the podium isn't the master mind..HE is being influenced and fed by many others.

You can't execute without a plan...so if I gave you the idea and you executed it, am I any less of a leader?
