    Peace,

It's been a while since I've taken the Art form. Unfortunately I only mastered the white belt but every now and then, I practice with a few masters to test my skills. I do plan on getting back into the Arts. Tae Kwon Doe is what study specifically.

How about anyone else out there, Have you ever been into Martial Arts?

for me I do Muay Thai, Arnis and have studied Kajukenbo, and also boxing(I count boxing as an art)...I love it man....think martial arts is one of the best things I've ever been into...two of my kids are now studying American Kenpo and my baby boy I'm starting to teach Muay Thai basics he's got his 8 weapons down and throws a mean knee.......

So many if not most black men over in Europe seem to know atleast one martial art.

I'd like to learn a few martial arts like Kung-Fu and Thai-Chi just to be cosmopolitan and keep myself in shape.

How long do you think it would take for me to master one?

Could I get 2 forms under my belt in a years time if I focus?

I studied Tae Kwon Do for 8 years under a Korean grandmaster and earned my black belt. It will certainly be beneficial to study, and you can and will learn many things, but it is not something that you should expect to "master", there will always be lots more to learn --and you certainly would not be able to "mater" any type of martial art in only a years time.

M-RED, I used to study MUAY THAI as well..... Tiger and Locust styles.

I plan on returning to the art, once I move to Chicago, and find a suitable trainer (either Thai or Black).

    PEACE
