(CNSNews.com) – The Internal Revenue Service will function as the government’s chief enforcer for health care reform, should President Obama sign the bill into law as expected, monitoring both businesses and individuals to certify whether they have the insurance coverage the government requires.

Here's a suggestion: Don't force people to take something they don't want!

I can't remember that line being used against us. Surely you have something
    better than that.

I don't want to pay payroll taxes. or Sales taxes. Or Parking Tickets or Meters.
I don't want to pay property taxes either..

    that aside...

My comment was not about whether or not the plan is good.. it was about
implementation.. and enforcement.. and the IRS seems to be the Agency that
would do it.. why create a new agency when you can expand an old one..
16000 new jobs sounds good right about now..

How about having no agency involved at all? Americans have enough problems with the IRS already now they in total control and to steal more money for the robber barons the bankers and the insurance companies.

    Hire independent contractors

Move to state that doesn't have that

Don't do anything that would cause you to get them

    Move to Florida

"Here's a suggestion: Don't force people to take something they don't want!"

I pay 15% social security tax whether i'm a contractor, or on a payroll. I don't want social security! The IRS makes sure I pay. That said, I never met anyone who didn't WANT to be able to see a doctor when they are sick. All this will be ironed out before 2014 when it goes into effect. The time for fear mongering is over.

My point was, if you don't get sick, why do you need health insurance?

What if you know how to take care of yourself?

That doesn't matter anymore. You HAVE to get health insurance now, whereas, before, it was a CHOICE.
