During a general conversation about the changing demographic of the GOP, this happened:

    Charles Pierce

"I think they'll be around but I'll tell you what, in that hall today, that hall is wired... that hall is wired by loud unhappy dissatisfied white people..."

    April Ryan

    "very white crowd"

King must have felt the need to defend "white pride", and in a "canthelpit" moment, blurted this out...

    Congressman Steve King (R-IA)

"This old white people business (inaudible) does get a little tired Charlie. I mean I'd ask you to go back through history and figure out where are these contributions that have been my by these other categories of people that you're talking about, if.. where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?"

Host Chris Hayes seeks for clarity:

    "Than white people???"

    FOOT IN MOUTH TIME!

King attempts to do damage control, after he gets out of the tunnel vision, he remembers he is on national television and not in his clubhouse talking to a potential recruit.
