    Instability's Lamb

    Consciously awake
    But constantly tripping
    over untied shoelaces
    My mind flips between
    reality and fool's
    paradise;a purgatory of
    perception
One eye sees what is there,
    The other sees what it
    desires and longs to have
    Perhaps this unstable
    condition is a perception
    manifested by the past
    Wishful thinking tells me
    to be oblivious to reality
    Mindfind thinking tells me
that to be oblivious is to
    be ignorant
    When will this vicious
    cycle of commotion end?
Who he opens his eyes will
    see what is desperately
    needed...the actuality of truth
    Who he is blind will
    continue to conform to the
illusion that has so many misguided
    The options are clear
    The decision remains
    inconclusive
This purgatory of the mind is killing me

The mind sees all, but sometimes does not accept all it sees. I was into the vibe of this piece, we all have felt that uncertainty. Flow on poet.

Whoa, do I feel you. Yes indeed, poet, this is so well-written. Great title, too.
