Denoted as the esteemed land of the free
Yet it's the most incarcerated nation to be
Land of blind justice is the label quoted in haste
Yet Lady Liberty's vision has been skewed a taste

Just enough for her to see the status quo of man
And justice is served to fit the confines of that plan
No longer balanced without respect of person or creed
Now it is sold to the ones who capitalizes upon it's greed

but why should we care if it's not our own son or daughter
Ignorance is bliss till its our very own time for the slaughter
Then we are ready to raise hands to do all we possibly can
Yet injustice anywhere should be concern of every just man
For one stroke of it's brush tarnishes all our esteemed integrity
Until we are all on even keel again none of us can walk in dignity
