    .....the sky is my limit
this life i'm gone live it
my all i'm gone give it
    this poem is not finished

    Part II

    My souldiers needs salvation
    they tired of incarceration
    they seeking emancipation
on earth it's hell they facing
    what hurts is this situation:
    survival's an occupation
    can't help but be complacent
    when times a slowly waste'n
    no time for contemplation

    no aiming for the sky
    our aim is to survive
we living eye for and eye
the weaklings they start to cry
    it seems the preacher lied
when he said that if we try
it will get better by and by

    i decided to maintain
but potential don't stop the rain
    stuck in my ways
    that stay the same
    no wonder i can't change
my father's the one to blame
    for reasons i can't explain
it hurt when he never came
to help me with the pain
    image all of the shame

    alone i made it through
but my pride was left abused
i was tired of being used
but i didn't know what to do
that's the essence of being confused
    they laugh i'm not amused
keep playin' and see what i do

    no time for playing games
its time to make a change
for our sons and for our daughters
i dare you to be a father
i dare you to go farther
i dare you to try harder
    put something away for tomarra
give your life like a martyr
