I reside inside the lines and spaces of the staff
    In common time
I see the colors of the differecnt worlds
Tied together by the chords of life
I hear magical, mystifying drums a drumming
Beating along with my inner rhythms’ humming
A stream of crescedos and decrescendos
    Flows through my backyard
Sharps and flats decorate my front lawn
    Music surrounds me.

    i hear the
    thump...thump...thumping
    of the drums
    beating
    soul stirring basses
    that touch the heart

allow me to hum along with you.:)

    we like to dress up,
where the drink of lightness at?
over there in the chest cooling,
the cookout be blazing spices and sweetness,
the air is right fore the weekend,
you got the heavens walking around shining,
we got the earths up in here,
    conversating about money and moves,
    rides cleaner than ever,
    the police ride by peeping,
but it ain't nothing but a party,
    the stress gets released,
from working hard taking more than most souls can,
all tribes and gangs came together,
in the neighborhood to straight up funk...
it's the funk where the cds keep skipping,
got real killers walking they walk,
the children out and about smiling,
they got brand new gear on looking too fresh,
blessed by the dividends saved up,
    the real payback on orbit,
in the neighborhood from yo club,
to the islands to europe in london,
where the black people roam with dreads,
    waterfalls, relaxers, fades and afros,
with they jordans, chucks and heels on flier than ever,
i got love in birmingham at that club,
    where everything is so true,
that the wave of hands stay in the air hue,
moving in one motion celebrating peace,
fore hours only seeming like universal moments,
in the neighborhood i walk alone,
then again i see my brotha with a cig,
i got five with my "A" baseball cap on forward,
the souljah from the apex is in the house,
Aset raises the roof off my home,
lets go to the homie house,
where he got everything that'll make you chill,
and the deejay makes the music drops,
    acapella over the tweeters,
my spirit to reach out soulfully,
are my wishes i keep holding,
in the neighborhood out to a heart near you.
