    heads turned, smiles spread
    love was in the atmosphere.
    marveled by my beauty
    his glance at me took
    my breath away.
    our hearts full of joy,
    trust and commitment.

    those wonderful words
    are said, "I do" then
    sealed with a kiss
    our love was strong
    soulmates we are.

    when he sleeps,
    I stare at his face
    thoughts in my mind,
"Who is this man I lay with?"
    once we were so close
    now nothing but distance,

    an impostor I am with.

    laughed, kissed, hugged,
    complain, argue, cry, barely touch

    soulmates became inmates
    sentence to unpleasant times.
    passionate lovemaking is
    now a chore, nothings left

    an impostor I am with.

    things we used to do
    nolonger the same,
    everything seems
    ~so routine.
    someone I loved and
    thought I knew well,
    somehow became
    an impostor to me.

    stuggle for some
    familiar signs of
    the man I once knew,
    recall none, so gloom.
    this must be separation
    before its true.
    maybe....

    I'm an impostor too?

the sad questions we ask ourselves when we find that things have changed and we wonder where it all went wrong...how did it happen..why couldn't we stop it...whose fault was it..

"soulmates became inmates"....thats a sad sad truth right there..

Unfortunately, you give me that side I need to see....that insight others have(had) when they've been with me.

    well, tell the truth.

    thank you

    Rashad~
Yeah, it becomes a sad reality
    for some of us.

    Brotherman~
Yes, I know the song. hmm, exactly.

    Kitana~
    So true.

    Bert~
    We don't always see the
    other person's view, or
    should I say we refuse
    too.

    Gypsyman~
    It is a sad situation
    I was being honest with
    myself when I wrote this.
There are two in a relationship,
    therefor two views.

    Thanks for the love yall
    It's returned.
