I'm trying to get at cha'!

You ain't know?

Of course you didn't know! Everytime I see you my pace gets real slow.
My lips get even slower; I can't form the words to say "Hi!"
For some reason your poise seems to get this brother shy.

I can't lie; I've been noticing your hips. The way you place your hands on them, I find them hard to resist!

We don't know each other personally, but I'm working on that trust me!
I've been meaning to take you on a date.
Someplace where the food and the atmosphere is good; there we can relax and communicate.

For you... I gotta come correct. That "Excuse me Miss!' just won't do.
I have to pick the right words if I'm ever to present myself to you.

They say timing is everything- so when I see you I'm all to careful of the way I walk.
I'm even speaking in full sentences now; I don't want to throw you off by the way I talk.

Girl I'm serious about what I writing! These words that I have arranged on paper aren;t just casual flirting.

On the real, I trying to score! Past your physical features I see something more.

Boo, let me all in your mix! See I get off work around five, So after I shower I can be knocking at your door around six!

Be easy Misses, I'm just teasing- 'cause I like your style.
But everytime I see you I have yet to see you smile.
You be all "bizzness" with a brotha. And that ain't cool!
You got me fidgeting for words like I'm still in high school!

The last three weeks I've been trying to catch you somewhat relaxed.
By your facial expressions, I'd have to say that if a brother approached,
you would be on the attack!
What part of the game is that?
And what has you so tense?
Is it the stress of dealing with the opposite sex got you on the defense?
My beginning line "I'm trying to get at 'cha" you can put that on hold.
I may never have the chance to get at you, truth be told.
These words may never connect us in anyway, yet I still digging your style!
If nothing else...may these words produce a smile!!!:em2300:

this is real cute for real!

You didn't know for real
The way that these "men" make me feel
They say they are interested in a date
But then they wanna slide by really late
Maybe if you approached with your heart
Maybe that could be a good start
And just say hey, you look really pretty today
I might just smile

And then if you asked me my name
I might just ask you the same
To me love is just simple and plain
Not complicated and full of crazy games

So think about that for a while
And know
The poem really did produce a smile
