today I sit in my own little pit where folks around don't give a ****
surf the web for songs & such
this world is in quite a bit of a rush
look for ways to get ahead what's going on inside my head
I'm spinning like a top this homeboy do think a lot
stay in my room and cry all day this much I have to say
the midnight train is whinding low I'm so lonesome I could die

watch as the billboards fade to black working too hard can give me a heart attack
Did you ever see a Robin weep when he's about to die
that means he lost the will to live through shutters peak
each new day I pray for restoration sitting back on a week's vacation
I'm so sad inside it breaks my heart to light a spark of what we are waiting for
