I’ve been quiet for too long, now I just can’t stand it
I tried to supress it, but these thoughts just won’t quit
Ahead of my generation, they don’t understand me
This life as a mature teenager really isn’t easy
Different from them, shunning what they call popularity
Unwilling to mix in with the crowd, sacrificing my individuality
They all mix together, each one no different than the last
When I really look at it I know it’s not worth the cost
I’d rather be true to myself than somebody popular
I don’t know if I can handle this stuff much longer
These guys disrespecting women, making them feel worthless
If they were with me they wouldn’t have to deal with this
Blame it on immaturity, or whatever you want to
I don’t understand what makes them do what they do
Shunning people that always try to be different
Skipping class never being more than an F student
Going nowhere ending up having to go on welfare
I can’t wait until the day they begin to care
Granted there are exceptions to this rule
There’s people like me trying to earn in my high school
I’m not coming out trying to label myself a victim
This is just how much I’m sick of them
I’m sick and tired of my generation
The thoughts were overflowing so I had to vent my frustration :welldone: :pc:

To be able to "vent" ...is a good thing, a very good thing. You're a young "Wonder" in this world, and let nothing or nobody change that. You have it together and in due time, you will reap the benefits to come. Thanks for sharing your inner thoughts.

Not fun feeling like an outsider as a teenager, so true. I commend you on just being you, when it's difficult to do so. Flow on we hear ya.
