    to my sorrow

i may never be able to borrow

    her pen again

and she may never have the desire to write me as a friend

but as long as Haagen Daas makes ice cream i'll never have to tire of wishing for her to refresh me with her cool July wind

    when i'm lonely

    love,

    howard

Such an endearing, peaceful feel to this piece. Much enjoyed.

I love the above line. parting is such sweet sorrow but memories refresh. You truly captured the essence of goodbye.
