Today I created my first computer program. It was just a very simple application that allows the user to enter the wisth and height of a rectangle then it calculates the area and perimeter and displays them in a textbox. I've created programs before in this class but this one I did without any assistance from my teacher or copying the code from a book. My teacher never just gives me the answers. He always ask me questions or points to things that make me think about what's going on. It's frustrating sometimes when I think I don't know why my code isn't working and he won't just tell me. But I keep thinking until the answer dawns on me then I be so happy that he let me figure it out because then I gain a better understanding and it makes him happy too. So today I just analyzed the task and used the knowledge I've learned to formulate a solution which is what computer programming boils down to. I really really like this stuff. Let's break out the champaigne, familee!
