OK, this poem is a fair be different from my others, but I hope you enjoy it.

I'M AFRAID

There's a darkness that surrounds me, that envelopes my skin,
There's an evil that strangles and holds me from within,
I cannot see your eyes, or feel the touch you bring,
Instead I feel the lonliness and hear the empty ring,
I smell the hate in burning flesh and taste your sour kiss,
I glance down and realise you're the next one on my list,
There's a burning heat around me, yet I'm frozen to the bone,
Hold me I beg of you, and then please take me home,
Your touch it burns my skin and makes me loathe you more,
I'm afraid of what I am, for I am not myself anymore.
