the clouds hang low
and hug the cliffs

no moon tonight

the air is moist
& crisp

covering the
ground with
a silky mist

the smell
of the ocean
moves thru
the lattice gazebo...
and
every part of me

"naked to the world"
I stand,

I be...

with firewood crackling
flames licking
and embers sparking
like a million light'nin bugs

looking on...

I be the tide....
my ebb and my flow ~
the rhythm of the waves
roaring ....

down below

naked to the night
like my bornday,

I be

no stars tonight

but,

in the stillness
the light
finds me....

This is deeply awesome. I must confess that I have enjoyed the profundity of all of your "naked" poems...*smile*. I still remember the one you post a long time ago. I would ask you to post that one again for my enjoyment, but I can't remember the title. However, it was something about stretching your hands forth in the rain...naked. Anyway...keep being poetically profound.
I enjoys dis type ah thang!!!

You knows it.
