Black People : Illegal immigration affecting black communities

You also implied that Bush gaining office was because black people did not vote. Remember writing this?

"Did he win because we, Black DEMS didn't vote? Is that why the Black vote has been under attack? Because we didn't show up at the polls until a Black candidate for POTUS."

If we can't argue facts, then how are we ever going to solve any problems? Many of your arguments seem to be based on a poor understanding of the country's demographics. Once one understands that we can't act as if we are a majority, then we can then come up with ideas about empowerment that will be more effective. Then again, it seems some are just fine with business as usual.

Last, I voted for Gore.

I have no desire to argue. Arguing is not a part of my real life nor will it be a part of my social networking.

FYI, If you desire to argue, discuss, debate, whatever, it may be a good idea not to start by insulting the other person.

I have no desire to communicate with you.

In my honest opinion.... it doesn't matter who we vote for..... especially if the government is basically a business entity. The parties are controlled by money and the politicians are puppets for these corporations. If you want to compete in government, you have to be able to control some of these "too big to fail" types of companies. With that being said, most of these companies that have huge political voices, were borne out of the era where slave labor dominated the workforce and drove profits. These same companies, even before the so called end of slavery, were determined to find a way to either retain slavery as their most potent economic tool or duplicate it, or replace it effectively in some form or another. Because, why would you EVER want to start paying salaries and wages when you've never had to from the beginning?! To me, it seems like the end goal was always to find a way to achieve free labor once more. Hence, the enactment of laws that allowed prisoners to be used for slave labor and the consequent BS laws that make it hard for any black person to breathe freely outside of prison walls to this very day. Let's not forget about the fact that private prisons started sprouting like weeds and most large corporations played their hands in their development and use.

From an illegal immigrant standpoint, why would you hire legal workers who require at least minimum wages, when you can hire these immigrants who can do the same work for you for 50% to 80% less? That's just good economic sense to an American businessman. You're gonna hire the cheaper labor option because it makes for a better bottom line. Where does that leave the impoverished black man and woman in America today? Well, if you can't compete with your labor costs with these illegal immigrants, then you're S.O.L. it seems. They know that black people are hungry and angry. They know we're talking about leaving and trying to get our own. So who do they replace us with? The cheaper option, of course. They've been working on it for a while now. They won't even change the tax code so they can hit some of these immigrants harder cause it's not as profitable as the cheap labor they provide to these corporations. They don't want them to stop coming... Neither Democratics nor Republicans. They're good for business! Not to mention, they already believe that those people are more productive and agreeable in nature than we are anyway. To them, it's like a win-win across the board. Soon, they'll really have some gusto behind those "Go back to Afrika" chants. Primarily because they will believe that they have done an awesome job of replacing us. That's all illegal immigration should mean to the black community. We should leave before it gets to that point, but it's all just my opinion.
