Who did you vote for in Bush Jr 1st term. Al Gore, D or Bush Jr.

Bush Jr was a clown the first and second election.
Almost as bad as Donald Duck.

Did he win because we, Black DEMS didn't vote?
Is that why the Black vote has been under attack?
Because we didn't show up at the polls until a Black candidate for POTUS.

He won because White People showed up to vote. They believed in him, and so they voted him in. Obama won because White people wanted a change, and so they voted for him in large numbers. We did not carry Obama into office, him winning required a lot of other ethnic groups voting for him too. Keep in mind that we make up only 13% of the U.S. population, and as such voting alone is never going to resolve our problems. We have to learn to build economically, and we have to learn to vote strategically. If we don't, our vote will always be taken for granted by the whichever party has convinced us that they are the least racist.

You also implied that Bush gaining office was because black people did not vote. Remember writing this?

If we can't argue facts, then how are we ever going to solve any problems? Many of your arguments seem to be based on a poor understanding of the country's demographics. Once one understands that we can't act as if we are a majority, then we can then come up with ideas about empowerment that will be more effective. Then again, it seems some are just fine with business as usual.

Last, I voted for Gore.
