    What would you do?

Do you have any goals you'd like to achieve in life?

Any projects you've put on the shelf?

What do you do with your time that would make a difference to someone else if you didn't do it?

Have you created anything that will be here for others when you are gone?

Well, since my mother, her mother, and several other women in my family have died BEFORE 50, I guess I betta "Party Like It's 1999!"

But, seriously, recently, I had a serious health problem. So, I'm taking that experience as a hint that "God is tryna tell me something." So, between now and 50 (if I see it), I need to be about getting "my house in order."

I need to be about working so that "the works I've done speak for me."

These are good questions, and the answers are goals to live by.

I have done all the things that I wanted to do in life, except have children. But if I knew I was only gonna live to be 50, I wouldn't have them. Because it hurts too much to lose a parent and I wouldn't want them to have to deal with that so young.

And do NOT say there are no guarantees, because the question was.... If you knew you would only live to fifty....

    Greetings Sister River...

I know this thread is for the younger folks.... but here I go...

Funny thing....the older I get the more I find I want to do. So I've never really set an age time on my goals in life. I just finish one and take on another, I dont even remember what my goal was at 50...heck I'm looking forward stuff to do at 100. Mayby I'll go to the moon. hahahhahahahah

With 7 yrs to go I guess I would continue doing what I am now. I am doing the best I can to raise my girls to be strong, intelligent, and self sufficient. Have knowledge of self and their true position in life. With my son I will continue my mission of breaking the cycle. I make it my point not to pass to him what was taught to me. No drugs, pimpin, gangbangin, playin, mis-treatment of women etc......

These are the only aspirations that I have in life. If my kids become the difference and not the norm then I would have done er-thang I was put here to do.
