if your could spend 3 days with 3 people who ever existed, who would you choose and why???
So good I have to sleep on it nd holla back...........
my mother. (to say thank you for all she did for us and to get her guidance one more time)
the lady on the 4th floor. (when i was 4; we were set out b\c my father wasn't a provider. i remember my mother holding my baby sister in her arms crying and going from building to building asking people if they would just take us in to feed us. this lady had 4 kids of her own and she said yes and she fed us; my mother ate the scraps that we didn't eat.(she didn't want to take any more than she had already taken. i want to tell the mother who didn't have much but saw that we had even less and helped us, i want to tell her that i practice her lesson she taught me to this very day when ever i can)
to my brutha that between me and our oldest brutha.( he had us agree to look out for me as much as we could b\c our older brutha was locked up and when our father would get us away from the house would be abusive. we stuck together, took action and overcame that dark era in our lives. i just want to be able to talk over old times and say "good lookin out big bruh" .
I would like to spend my three days with......
Maya Angelou... because of the deep passionate way she expresses herself. I would love to listen to her life story and how she overcame obstacles.
Whoopi Goldberg....her sense of humor would be just what I needed to balance my temper after hearing all their stories and how they delt with racism, bigots, poverty, and gossip.
Cynthia McKinney....for her courage, strength, and voice from a political stance. Where she draws her courage from, what gives her the strength to fight another day, and how she delt with white supremist politians.
I would just listen and listen and listen and learn from all these women. Their stories, their experiences, and their motivation and drive to push on through diversities.
