Black Spirituality Religion : If Jesus is God, why did he pray to the Father and not to himself when he was on the cross?

On the cross Jesus said, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" or "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

Why didn't he pray to himself if he is God?

Yes he is One with God and yet he is the Son of God
It has some basis in the "Majestic plural"/"Royal we" concept...Nosism
Even at the time of creation God the Father sad " let us make Man"( Gen 1:26)


TO SIMPLIFY IN A NUTSHELL.
Now you know it is said in the scripture, that when you are married the two have become One flesh (Gen 2:24)....do you take that to mean you no longer must talk to your wife?
You function as One/Unite but hold differing office and duties to achieve the same goal.....Their is the Office of the Father and the Office of the Son
