Black People Politics : If I can get a receipt for a 99 cent cheeseburger, why can't I get a receipt for my vote?

Back in the days I was told to always get a receipt to show you paid for something. Why aren't people issued a receipt with a summary of their vite at when they are finished voting at the poll? Why hasn't their been a database created where people can register their vote and keep track of voting numbers outside of the official polls as a double chec? My daughter can get a receipt for her school lunch but I can't get a receipt for my vote

Excellent idea but here in Florida alone where the electronic voting machine designs are at most disparate using a combination of ODS, DRE and BMD microprocessor technology including the low tech but for the most part tamper proof hand count tallying system. I 'm quite sure if all the taxpaying voters agreed to foot the tens of millions of dollars to reconfigure all the voting machines in every election district in all 67 counties to spit out receipts like lottery tickets Tallahassee would go with it. But knowing Florida like I do I'd say good luck with that.

ES&S based in of all places Omaha Nebraska has been providing Florida with most of it's electioneering equipment since 2018 and I don't see any options in it's basic design scheme to accommodate any type of paper dispensing component.

Yes the reason Rick Scott wS so sure about fraud is because Republicans jwve been the beneficiaries of fraud for decades but they wanted to cry foul in the last election becausr it wasn't falling their way this time. Florida basically has a default Florida ID or driver's license requirement because about 11 or 12 ou. of the 13/14 posted firms of ID to vote don't meet both requirements to havr picture and signature panels. Most school ID only have a photo no signature.
