I wish I did have two-three hundred dollars to spend on one dress.

Anybody know of a reasonably priced market for Afrocentric clothes?

    Sister River,
There are many people (african) that sew in their home, If you can find someone like that...you could get at least 6 outfits for that price.
I always have people make both mine and my daughter's clothes.

    Beloved Qg River:

    I agree with 0Qg Queen.

Also precious do a GOOGLE search and type in African.

Check to see where the nearest Wholesale factory outlet is to you that caters to selling clothes from all over the world.

    Greetings Sista

You can try to find some pieces on Ebay.
Several merchants have an ebay store where you can get beautiful clothes at a fraction of what it would cost on the outside.

    Also try
    http://www.wilsdom.com/store/index.html

    hope this helps

The best prices on Afrocentric clothes are to be found in Afrika, where they can be purchased for a fraction of what they cost here. The $200-300 outfit would have cost you well under $40-50 there.

If you're going to travel there (whenever) pack lightly and plan to bring a lot of stuff back.
