    I wish you well
    I truly do
    in all that life
    has to offer you
    It takes two to tango
    and I did some wrong
    unintentionally wrote some
of the music to your sad song
    and for that awful melody
    the good Lord only knows
    I've had to pay dearly
    as you promised I suppose
for you said that you would fix me,
and you succeeded like a trooper
there were times I wanted to linger
day to day within a drunken stupor.
The kids got caught up in the limbo
of this dance...Do you still shed a tear
    knowing that your children haven't
seen you in over a year?
    I prayed that our children
    could bear their heavy load
    still walking the straight and
narrow on a freshly paved road
Yes that higher power took control,
    and reintroduced myself to me
Reminding me of the firmly planted,
tree of life still thriving positively
    So on this positive note
    I want you to know,
    that despite it all
I had to let the anger go,
while I watched my faith grow
    And so...
    Yes
    I wish you well
    I truly do
    in all that life
    has to offer you

You can't "hold on" and "move on" too, so know that you did do the wisest thing ...by letting go. It's their loss...not yours.
    wonderful piece and well repersented.

well felt sometime good wishies are well off
and moving forward makes it more sweeter
sometime one move without looking back leaving it all behind
we may never understand this but it's real

"You can't "hold on" and "move on" too"... To do so would only be fooling myself. Wise words from a wise woman. Thank you queent, much appreciated.
Rich, yes the move forward can indeed be sweeter. So much we may never truly understand, but we have to face it cause yea, it's real. Thank you brotha poet for your understanding response.

    This part really touched me:

    unintentionally wrote some
of the music to your sad song

You are a woman of great strength, my friend. Mad respect for this piece - wonderful flow.

    Sister...Sister...My Dearest Sister
I stood beneath the tears of this peace...
Each one falling like a heavy rain in the middle of summer...
while the sun is still shining...
Emotions splayed...but joy running quickly in the undercurrent
I put my arms around this piece...
    because these words...are my own
...they are yours...but they are mine too

    Girl...your soul has "Volume"....
    that can not be ignored

    Soul to soul...with this peace
    Much love sister...Much love
for this Magnificent Display of Heart...
    Sage

"like a heavy rain in the middle of summer...
while the sun is still shining..."
These words capture the feeling of this piece so well.
Thank you sage, for it takes someone with a hearty soul to recognize another's....as we join hands in comfort knowing that it will be okay. Much peace to you sis.

besides your creativity...what makes you special is your ability to see all sides and to recognize that no one person is to blame for anything...but that we share in the experiences of our lives...
    you are blessed..and a lovely poet too1

Thank you a million for that reply sis, yes, as difficult as it is, I do see all sides, even when I don't want to. You continue to be such a "deep" soul deepy.
