Caught up

Lust

Whatever

I don’t know

Was it a fairytale
That told the story
Of ages long gone

I LOVE YOU.

Is that gone, too

Is it?

Was it a desperate plea
On bended knees
Did I beg;
“baby, please!”

Did I cry
Tears of joy
Or, were they make-believe

Did I?

Or, did you just leave?

I was caught up
By a moment of pleasure

I was taken.
