I sit and wait.....

For my baby sister....

16 years old and thinks shes knows it all
From the moves a man will make
To nuccas tryin to holla at the mall....

She wears a long ponytail and a type of sass
And to my horror, shes startin to grown an ***

I sit and wait...

To see what kind of woman she will become
She's surrounded by good mentors
I hope her future standards don't turn wrong

She stopped listening to rap and now pumps india arie
I sit and shake my head cuz shes acting like me

I sit and wait....

My sista has the type of glow no one can touch
It brings so many big-headed boys
But to her beauty, none of them can clutch

I want to tell my sister that I can teach her all the don'ts
But by tellin her I'll lose her respect--so I won't

I sit and wait...

For the time we can talk like grown women
But I already know that she's smart
Cuz she's never been introduced to Mr Semen

I hope and pray she stays pure until marriage
If not, I don't wanna see her push a baby carriage

I sit and wait.....

For my lovely sister to blossom to the world

she will be just fine
wit a sister so devine
her motions is of u
so her rites of virginity
will remain
she's ya sister
da bond is claim
she know the choice
not in guys voice
her young womanly
wholesome will blossome
to a full bloom

worry not forth just wait
as tyme takes it place
tyte
