    solemn
    is my stare
    into africanesque features
    and wide-set eyes
    exposing
    {deep rooted issues}

    a soft-glowing
    RAGE
    bely the
    SENSITIVITY
    ...the MENTAL SUPERIORITY
    of a minority
    behaving as a majority
    in a country
    where common amenities
    are not afforded
    WE
    of a
    DARK-SKINNED HUE

    there is no wonder why they hate us
    {***** you}

    i see

    chocolatey covered SISTAHZ
    with smoothe
    honey-baked skin
    on extended hands
    of...

    "mississippi or an island"

    i look, again, to see
    strength of character
    lavishly heaped upon
    my BRUTHAZ
    as temptations and tribulations
    makes rocky this winding road
    with damnation at its end

    did we drop the burdensome load

    as the pungent smell
    {of this living hell}
    serves only to punctuate
    the senselessness of this firey pit
    in which we dwell
    as GREED for a dollar
    and LOVE of a nation
    is slowly killing away
    my RELATIONS
    as the RIGHT of a land
    that only knows WRONG
    ceaselessly strangle
    my FREEdom
    song.

    i see beyond
    majority rule
    to me and you
    and all those who
    struggle
    of a dark-skinned hue

    i see

    {mild-tempered men
    and women}
    wishing to start
    a new
    beginning
    in the midst of all this
    WOLFing and SINning
    walks my GOD
    with the power of ending
    all this here
    we've lashed upon
    one day, soon
    i'll sing my song

    my freeDOM song.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    i sit on the sidewalk
    watching
    ninety-five percent
    of police cruisers
    racing the streets
    of da hood
    pretending we're no good
    like
    in the jungle
    outside this abyss
    drugs
    and guns
    and crime
    don't exist
    do you believe this
    the criminal element
    is a Black Man
    because the White Man
    can't find any other way
    to defeat what he don't
    understand
    he knows he's not DA MAN
    why Black officers
    imitate his actions
    i don't understand
    i see
    promising futures
    for me and my people
    just wanting to be equal
    TO WHO?
    do YOU see this?
    UT's...
    I DON'T WANNA GO THERE.
    as much as i make reference to...
    as much as it might seem to be...
    this isn't about them
    it's about you and me.
    pd...just like the crackheads, who remind us where we don't wanna be...the UT's play a valuable role in our society. they've gotta be who they are...as i will be who i be.:)
    THANKS FOR THE READ.
    GYPSY...thanks for the love, my brutha. an international conference would be nice but WE have to start at the local level and move out. as much as the SYSTEM try to condition us to believe that their opinion is that of WORLD opinion, it's not. outside these united lies for no good, we're looked upon in a very different light. during my travels, i've been well received by all that i've come in contact with. it's just in our homefront that the muck runs deep.
