When our bodies and our minds intertwined
We set off something so ferociously divine
I saw your breath caress the air I breathe
Dancing to a rythm, only u and I could hear
Instantaneously my eyes gained the strength
Of a thousand full moons
And as I stepped out into this new reality
I saw a beautiful green carpet of Spring
Laid out in front of me
Ready to receive footsteps of a queen
I heard the songs of the birds
Sing to me every sky blue morning
And mentally I sang along
I touched the hottest flame of the Summer
Delicately with my tongue
As I slowly explored your Nubian soul
I felt the gentle winds of Fall
Softly kiss my face and whisper
I love you…I love you…I love you
I noticed the beauty of the Winter
As melting icicles dangled from the trees
Like sparkling diamonds conversing with the sun
I couldn’t believe I've never seen
All that forever lay before me
And now
Sadly through your departure I am now blinded
Back into the jaded illusion of cloudy grey skies
And for the first time I realized
Through you, with you, and because of you
I saw heaven
