Black Entertainment : I really did not like black panther movie

I did not like the movie either. The reason being I am a fan of Marvel comics and not a feminist. The movie was pretty much feminism in blackface.

In the Marvel Universe T'Challa is one of the smartest and wealthiest men in the Marvel Universe. His intellect is on par with Reed Richards. In the movie, he's a moron and his sister is the inventor of everything and the smart one. In the comics his sister is bitter because he became King and she wanted his throne; she actually gets REJECTED initially by the Panther God due to this. They completely left this out to cater to the feminist agenda.

In the comic MALICE is his sworn enemy because HE REJECTED HER; in the film you don't know who MALICE is because they are too busy making him drool over her and pursue her. That's right they actually took a woman that T'Challa has NO INTEREST IN via the comics and reduced him to being madly in love with her in the film. In the comics, his guard are also his wives; in the film they are not married to him. In the comics T'Challa actually beats KILLMONGER on the mountain and throws KILLMONGER's body over the edge; in the movie it is again reversed to make the black KING look weak. In the comics it is T'Challa who utilized the vibranium and designed the early suits; in the film he knows nothing about it and is the laughing stock when his sister shows him how to use it.

It's an anti-black male film. You can't be "woke" and like Caucasian feminist propaganda. Feminism is racism. So if you like berating black men or like films that berate black men you are very much ASLEEP.

Awesome review! Thank you for sharing such an outstanding critical analysis of the movie. Hollywood strikes again, huh? When will our stories be told truthfully instead of being whitewashed to please an audience that doesn't look like us. Ugh...when will I stop being entertained by them. :bye:

Black on Black??

Bro. @jamesfrmphilly recently posted information detailing the controversy around the movie, "Harriet." Here are some important players in this scenario:

Gregory Allen Howard, the Screenwriter, "Harriet"

Director Kasi Lemmons, left, and Cynthia Erivo of “Harriet,” a biopic about Harriet Tubman

First Issue: Cynthia Chinasaokwu O. Erivo is a Nigerian actress, singer, and songwriter. She is known for her performance as Celie in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple, for which she won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical and was one of nine recipients of the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

Controversy follows the actress who is alleged to have made some negative comments about African Americans which caused some heat and backlash in social media. Questions are raised about her Nigerian tribal affiliation. Some, like Antonio Moore want to know if Cynthia is Igbo Diala or Igbo Ohu because the Diala lived as free people in Nigerian society while trading slaves (Ohu) during the Transatlantic Slave Trade. And now, in the movie, she portrays a famous ADOS. Good actress, but still majorly problematic?

Did the Black screenwriter and director compromise Harriet, the movie, to sell it to the industry moguls who see nothing but dollar signs? Entertainment vs. substance. One thing can be said about Black people, they will support Black movies by going to see them. However, the NAACP recommends that the movie be boycotted for the following reason.

Another and final issue:

"Harriet," produced by Focus Features LLC, an American film production and distribution company, owned by Comcast through Universal Pictures, a division of its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal.

"EXCLUSIVE: Heading towards a $20 billion showdown with Comcast at the U.S. Supreme Court this fall in his long running racial discrimination lawsuit against the media giant, Byron Allen today tore into the Brian Roberts-run behemoth and an 11th hour intervention by the Department of Justice.

“This is historic,” the Entertainment Studios boss said of the August 15 brief filed by the feds seeking to tighten the definitions of a Reconstruction Era statute in Comcast’s favor. “Donald Trump’s DOJ and Comcast are working together to destroy a civil rights statute in the U.S. Supreme Court.”
