    I pray

No one can be original now adays
Supposedly everyone from the past pays
It's over, it's not your past, the past is gone
The past is not a legit excuse to live on
Take responsibility for your own actions
Don't be greedy and try to get rations
No one can change what has already been done
Only you are responsible for who controls your gun
You may not like what you see around
It's what you choose to do with it I've found
Sure that past will always be a part of us
but only because everyone still makes a fuss
I pray for that day when we can all move on
I pray and pray for a brighter dawn
When we can all sing together in a graceful song
How much more pain and tears, just how long
There is so much hate out there
I ask, does anyone even care
Those kinds of people can't be proud
Look in the mirror and see that cloud
    Taking over your mind inside
Are you dumb enough to let it ride
Or smart enough to look out with open minds
Free yourself from those hostile binds
If you believe, anyone can change
Someday, this idea won't be so strange
I pray for that day when we can all move on
I pray and pray for a brighter dawn

Sometimes it's easier to stay where one is than to change even if it's for the better. Flow on poet.

I like the way of thinking that is conveyed in this piece.
"You are the captin of your ship."

this is beautiful and from the heart , it is full of great truths, and the blinders will be removed, it is not up to man, but God shall take his course, living in a mind of darkness, man if not careful hell will become earth, through storms, and plagues as back in bible times, it is sad that man has bonded with devil, these are the last days, man just can't see, it is written in the black book
