I play the game
Until the time runs out
It’s the bottom of the 9th
Bases loaded, fullcount, and two outs.
It don’t matter what I’ve done,
Or where I’ve been
It only matters If I lose
Or if I win.
So I play the game.
The game of life as we all know it.
My struggle goes on daily,
But I try hard not to show it.
I Maintain my focus
I Cant let them see me sweat.
The vultures of society will suck you dry
And take all they can get.
I am a student of the game
And When it’s all said and done
It will be my legacy…that will remain.
After all, ain’t that what life’s all about?
Having people speak highly of you,
When your time has ran out?
In my life, I strive to be
M.V.P.
The Most Victorious Person
In the Game HE Laid out for me.
And If I do HIS will, and give praise to HIS name.
My game will continue in the HEREAFTER....,
And I won’t burn…in the flame.

Yo thanks for the read, I have been mad busy at work, thats the inspiration for this piece sometimes when you get caught up in the everyday life of work and things you forget what life's all about, hopefully since things are dying down I can get back on the flowers roll call......love peace.....and soul!
