    For the first time
    In a long time
I have absolutely nothing to cry about
    And as a result
    Nothing to write about
    No drama
    No stress
    No hurt
    No pain
Me the Diva of the emotional calamities
    Have nothing to cry over
No man to mourn the loss of
    No broken heart
    No troubled soul
    No right to wrong
    Life is almost boring
I have half a mind to go find the ex
    Initiate a one-night stand
Just so I can have something to cuss about
I am compelled to pick up the phone
And pick a fight with my mom
Shoot I’ll even settle for stubbing my toe
    SOMETHING !
    anything
    to get the ink flowing
    the brain synapting
    the heart pumping
    I asked God for peace
But I think he went a little to far
Have you ever had excitement withdrawals?
Have you ever craved the complications of drama?
    For the first time
    In a long time
I have absolutely nothing to cry about
    And as a result
    Nothing to write about
    I miss the lingering residue
    Of sadness
The tears that are always close to the edge
Has been replaced with an inner quite
    The miniscule remnants of anger
That always threatened to take over
    Has been replaced by peace
The lack of love from those of the male persuasion
Has been replaced by a far greater self love
My life as it stands is peaceful, pleasant almost
    My muse
    My anger
    My fire
    My passion
    Gone
    For the first time
    In a long time
I have absolutely nothing to cry about
    And as a result
    Nothing to write about
