    …My definition
May not be the same as yours
    We are all entitled
To our own opinion on love

But, you put me in love
    With so many but you
As if I had the time
    When I revolve/evolve

    For you
    Your thoughts
    An outstretched hand
A word of comfort after an argument

    But love takes two
    And I am but one
    One that longs for
    Our leisurely weekends

    One that can’t wait
    For your embrace
    One that hungers
    For only your touch

    And you say
    “I love you,
    but, not in love..."
    Which explains

    Everything
    From your lack of forgiveness
    To only your self sight
    To your unyielding heart

    When we argue
It’s always a monster you see
    Forgetting
    Tender moments

    Forgetting my face
    Forgetting the pedestal
    I have put you on
    Forgetting me

    Remembering you
    Arguing love
    But, forgetting what love is
    In my opinion

    In love
    When getting off work
    You look forward to seeing
    The one that cherishes you

    In love
When you have things to do
    You still call to explain
And say “…but, I can’t wait to be with you”

    In love
    When you do silly things
    That children do
With a smile and a laugh

    “I’m so into you…”
But, I’m not the only one
    To have lost that
    You did, too

    From you I know
No amount of love can one make
    From two without you
    “I love you … but…”

It's that word "but" that gets you every time. You feel like you are giving your whole heart, but the other is not. Feeling this piece. Flow on.

    My sister...

You will forever possess an ability to capture
    a place in time...in love
that I only wish I had an ounce of the gift, to convey
this touched the depths of my heart
having known...the heights and even the lows of love
    so intimately...

    I feel this piece...

    Much love,
    Sage

Cindy, I had to quote this part of your poem:

    In love
    When getting off work
    You look forward to seeing
    The one that cherishes you

    In love
When you have things to do
    You still call to explain
And say “…but, I can’t wait to be with you”

    In love
    When you do silly things
    That children do
With a smile and a laugh

** Amazingly put!!!!! I can relate with what you said there so much, that it scares me when i read it! Love this poem alot!

    *read it twice already* lol
