This is what is great about science. Scientific claims, theories, and assertions are open to being disproved. Faith is not the basis for science, observations and testing are. That is why I believe it is easier to find the truth through the Scientific Method than through religions. The Scientific Method at least allows us a chance to eliminate ideas that have been proven to be wrong, while religious belief requires many to believe religious doctrine even if all other evidence is counter to it.
