    I let him touch me
In places no man should ever know
    Not more than one
    Your husband’s secret
    A mother’s wisdom told
His face a stranger to my eye
    His cologne the sweetest smell
He signed his taste upon my lips
His kiss I knew quite well

    I let him hold me
In places no man should ever know
    Not more than one
    A father’s tone
    Should see your afterglow
His hands as soft as infant skin
    Yet, manly his caress
    Our bodies fit
    Like synchronicity
    A perfect peace
    To lay upon his chest

    I let him feel me
In places no man should ever know
Told him his love is surely good
    Like soothing to my soul

I let him tell me things
    No man should ever say
    In tones that hurt
    More than fists that hit
    No one should ever
Have to hear the words he’d say

I let him put his hands on me
Domestic violence no one should ever do
    A hard lesson learned
    From an ear who yearns
    To hear three words
    I LOVE YOU

I let him have his way with me
    Like no man ever could
    His stranger ways
    I knew all too well
Yet not at all like I should

    Some say he had me
    But I never had him
Some say I had him too much
Some say true love doesn’t hurt
    At least not like his
    Asking why I still
    Had not enough

I let him love me in ways
No man ever should ever know
    He left loving scars
    Too deep to heal
    Before he let me go
    I let him.

    Nice flo Poet!!

Strange how we let people, out of love and what feels good, for a moment can leave everlasting impressions and scars on the soul
I feel this piece talking to me..

sometimes, we let others do what they do to fill a void...fulfill a need...from deep within. once filled, we question the happenings that got us where we are.

    sometimes.:(
