Black Poetry : I just don't understand it...

Don’t understand it
Can’t quite grasp it
Why do I care if
Your love ain’t lastin’
Why do I do this?
Get so attached then
My old selfishness
Makes it not last when
I’m drownin’ and fallin’
My mind keeps on fadin’
I don’t understand it
Don’t know why I do it
Cuz in the end it just hurts me
And in the end I just hurt me
Things go good ‘til the end
‘til I burn it away like some trend
Cuz in the end you’ll be alright
And in the end I’ll be alone another night….
I just don’t understand it
i just know i can't stand it...

sometime we can't understand love or why
but often feel it and the affects i feel ya here

thanks for the comments everybody...and i wanted the poem to be simplistic madrapper...thats what i was aiming for instead of a wide vocabulary...i wanted to keep it simple to constrast the confusion of the topic...but thanks for the advice
