I grow dandeLIONS in my yard
and everyone laughs at me/
those with ROSE colored BUSHes
and LIElac SINted antonyms and SINKNOWnyms
that populate the explaNATIONS
of how their green thumbs are bigger than mine
Yet I tell them "but, my mind is free"
and more CONtinue to laugh at me,
those with TWOlips whose pollen is
carried away by red, white, and blue bees
to impregnate virgin soils and spoil the land
with sanguine roots of proPAgNDA that
grow into bamboo trees of maligned
moral magik / that jades the view with
smoke and mirror tricks of...
WHOREtiCULTURAL MENtal gene splicing/
of TWOlips to bam "booms"
of carbon mushrooms they plant in somebody
elses yard...

I grow dandeLIONS in my yard
because even when they try to
cut my lawn my dandeLIONS grow back
stronger / my yard more populated
...there's power in numbers...
the children will pick my dandeLIONS
with reverence and behave as if they have
found the most prized possession...
because there's hope in birth and naturalness /
akin to their innocence when picking

no special hybrids of faux floral messages that
look and smell good but bastard to the root
lost in gardens without truth among
the rose colored BUSHes and TWOlips
that adorn humanity with carbon soot.
