i signed up for a lot of friends now what am i supposed to do?
i don't know much about facebook.
Well, FB is a "social" website.....Sooo, just start socializing!
Post on a friend's page...."LIKE" a friend's post....Check out their photos....Post on YOUR page (STATUS).....thoughts, music....etc..
Have fun!... Enjoy your FRIENDS and their friends!
Let them enjoy YOU!
Facebook is also a wonderful tool to find people and let them find you.
On Facebook, I've found and have been found by people I haven't seen or talked to in 20-30/35 years!
And it is just wonderful to re-connect and share with each other again!
Now, yes, I do have a coupla folks on "BLOCK" (lol)
But I have over 600 facebook friends (childhood, h.s., college, co-workers, sorors/frats, ex-boyfriends, and even some churches I attended when I lived in different states, etc..) and I enjoy them all!
how do you learn how to navigate the site? there seems to be no help function.
there are no 'how to' books in the store. does everybody just know what to do except me?
Its pretty much learn as you go james, as cherry said, just start navigating and doing things, you'll learn.
Like Bro. Clyde said, some of it is "navigating/learn as you go."
I'm still learning it myself....And sometimes, I'll ask my friends how to find something/do something, either in a PM or by posting it on my status.....They will help you.
Also, there is a HELP SECTION on facebook too.
Look at the upper right of your page, you'll see your name (which is your "profile page"....then a "HOME" icon.....then a "lock" icon (which is "privacy settings")....and the LAST icon is a "wheelie/cog" type-thingie (lol) with a DROP BOX.... there....is the HELP.
....also in the "SEARCH" box at the TOP of your page....type in "HELP" and that will take you to the "HELP CENTER."
what is a bunch of friends?
I have found the more friends you have the better to navigate. I have more than 1400 and I am always entertained
Separate names with a comma.
